ANZ regional and remotely based customers were at a disadvantage, when it came to connectivity and communication with their ANZ business managers.
The restraints of low internet coverage have been hindering the amazing array of needs of farmers and graziers and the potential for growth and begged the question “How might I put the financial planning control back in to the hands of the customer, whilst forecasting their expenditure and costs, in real time”
Research
From our learnings we were able to conclude with a few clear pain points and user needs that would provides tangible value and reestablish the bond between customer and regional ANZ business managers. From sketches to ‘How Might we’s’ and Lean UX methodology, our small team of 3, delivered first iterations, and shared the ideas amongst the ANZ management. The process of regular meeting and collaboration with ANZ’s business teams, and the feedback from customer facing stakeholders, helped hone the ideations quickly. The early ideas were tested with users, highlighting the context of rural surrounds and no connectivity.
Sketches grew to mockups, ANZ branding applied, and prototypes were tested and presented. App was released, and has become a standard tool of choice with ANZ business managers, where they can download and upload customer data and give regional customers the freedom of financial choices previously reserved for city dwellers.
